Facilities

Accommodation
There are 22 bedrooms with a range of capacities from 1 - 10 people per room. 3 bedrooms are accessible by wheelchair. Our maximum capacity is 87 people sleeping in bunk beds. There are ample showers and toilets in a specific block as well as a disabled toilet and separate showers and toilets for visiting staff. There is also a laundry and drying area.

Camping
Brenscombe can offer full board camping facilities on site as well. We can accommodate 40 people in bell tents that have camp beds but no bedding. 36 people share 6 tents and 4 (leaders) have 2 smaller tents (with normal beds). In addition to the sleeping tents, the camping facilities also include a marquee, tables, benches, outdoor lighting and a gas boiler for hot drinks. Campers make use of the other Centre facilities as alongside other groups staying at Brenscombe.

Training Rooms
Brenscombe has 1 main training room for 60 people (theatre style) and 3 smaller rooms for 8 - 20 people. All rooms are in converted farm buildings including a barn and a dairy house. Each room has a variety of visual aids including flip chart stands, white screens, OHPs and PC projectors with power points, tables and chairs. The main training room also has a small stage area suitable for disco and karaoke equipment.

Dining Room
The dining room with upstairs gallery is an impressive converted stone hay barn in Purbeck stone that retains the character of the farm and can seat 65 people or additional people in two sittings. Special diets can be catered for upon request and the Centre has an excellent reputation for meals it produces using food sourced from local produce as much as possible, all freshly prepared on a daily basis. The facilities include a patio overlooking Poole Harbour and the forest with a BBQ area. Meals start with dinner on arrival and end with breakfast on the day of departure. An additional packed lunch on the day of departure is also available at extra cost. Cooked lunches can be provided at extra cost. Breakfast is served at 8.00am and dinner at 6.15pm.

Recreation
The Centre has a lounge, a games room and a games field. The lounge has a TV and DVD player and sofas to relax within the old dairy house, complete with inglenook fireplace, licensed bar and tuck shop. The Granary games room has table tennis and snooker facilities (small tables). The games field has rounders and football equipment as well as a campfire area.

Centre Grounds
On site, the Centre has the large games field and an orchard suitable additional camping, games or relaxation. In the woods next to the Centre is the camp craft area ideal for shelter building and foraging. Brenscombe has its own beach in Poole Harbour at Cleavel Point (10 minute drive from the Centre).

Fees
Brenscombe has 5 accommodation rates:

CHILD:	Make your beds upon arrival, basic cooked breakfast, packed lunch and 2-course evening meal. Suitable for 8-12 year olds.
YOUTH:	Make your beds upon arrival, enhanced cooked breakfast, packed lunch and 2-course evening meal (large portions). Suitable for 13-18 year olds.
ADULT:	Beds made for you, enhanced cooked breakfast, packed lunch and 3-course evening meal (large portions), tea & coffee available 24 hours a day. Suitable for 18+ years.
CAMPING:	Accommodation in tents, own bedding, meals as above (depending upon age range).
CORPORATE:	Twin room accommodation, enhanced cooked breakfast, cooked lunch and 3-course evening meal (large portions), tea & coffee available 24 hours a day, free access to training rooms.

Brenscombe's 3 dormitory accommodation blocks are custom designed from converted farm buildings.

The Chef can provide a range of food from basic meals to BBQ's, and wedding dinners.

All beds have individual reading lights and bedding provided. Rooms have ample storage and heating.
