EVENTS

Organisations who have used us for training often ask us to produce a fun day of activities for their staff. Using our range of activities and facilities, we organize everything from simple activities to ‘Escape from Purbeck’ challenges, water sports and motor sports for up to 250 people.

Choice of Venue

Clients use our range of services and skills in a variety of ways. Corporate events can be organized either at Brenscombe or another conference facility. Events can include fun away days with an activity theme or that can be combined with your particular conference themes. Events can take place over a half day or multiple days with accommodation provided at the Centre or locally. Themed parties, discos and dinners can also be organized if required.

Other local venues we use include Moreton's House Hotel, Encombe house and Corfe Castle as event venues. See our links page for more details. We also have special reciprocal arrangements with FJB hotels on Sandbanks in Poole.

Choice of Style

Events can revolve around a range of indoor and outdoor activities that can be just for fun or linked to promote the objectives of a training course or conference.

Themes and style of delivery can vary, for example participants can become:

Designers and engineers to construct and launch hot air balloons and rockets.

Superheroes for the day as they rush around saving the world, leaping tall buildings and saving damsels.

LEADERSHIP

Leadership Skills

Brenscombe can provide leadership training at a range of levels from introducing leadership principles for team leaders to providing one to one coaching at board level. Specific trainers are chosen for each course ensuring we match their experiences and abilities to the participants on the programme.

Participants can benefit from practicing a range of leadership styles and theories away from their own teams and workplace. This gives them the confidence to learn without the fear of failure. Combined with tutor feedback and coaching, individuals experience rapid development. This is used extensively with evidence gathering weekends for colleges running leadership programmes at Brenscombe.
